Our blog looks abit dead... so decided to post sth here :P
Yup, it's NUS Breakers 2008 which Lao Ma and me have joined. Ok, abit off, as I'm posting sth tt is not from Huangdi. However, I was thinking of sharing with u guys cuz the display is really magnificient (Lydia thinks the display looks scary, haha...).
It's a total of 11553 pinwheels! Hope if u all have time, go down to central forum to see the display. It will be taken down on this Friday. ^-^

Best Holiday I ever had

I’m really very happy that our family is expanding and the best thing of all, we are really so family. We pose and take weird photos in the public, not caring what others think of us. We show support for one another by having free food and drinks at one of our member’s party. We watch crappy Mummies show and had a good laugh at it. We sing (or shout?) loudly and party high in KTV and realize that we have a star (Jay Chou?) among us. All these are really good memories for me and sometimes how I wish time will just stop there. It has been the best holiday I ever had. Thank you all for making this holiday such a great one. Love u all ^-^

3cheers to Huang Di!!! We were fantastic-- fashionably late because we took too many 'shortcuts' but our camaradie was the envy of all the other groups. We played urban warfare like G.I.Joes, danced the best and most coordinated bamboo dance like production line workers, ruled the ultimate frisbee games, put up an absurb performance of a dysfunctional royal family, and even spilled intimate details of our toileting habits.....

I'm so excited!!!
Hihi Everybody.
Yup, I'm having a meeting, but having a break now so decided to post sth on our blog. Abt 2 hrs later, Huang Di gg to have our very 1st Outing! So excited now!!!
Btw, wan to say sorry to Ming Yun cuz we had our outing without u. But rest assured, we gg to have our Kbox outing when u come back. ^-^
And I'm very touched this morning cuz i see alot of our Huang Dis gg to the volunteering projects. I really hope tt we can continue to go for these projects regularly as a form of meeting up, bonding and doing good stuff together. And everytime there's special outings for these projects, we can join together as a form of outing for us too. ^-^
All-in-all, I really wan to say, Huang Di really ROCKS!

Post-camp Syndrome
Hello 皇帝s & 皇后s,
I concussed on the sofa once I reached home last night, couldn't wake up even though my mother tried to pull me off the sofa and when I did finally wake up, I went to bathe and nearly fell asleep on the toilet bowl.
I wanted to KO after my bath, but then! my freshie called me and asked me to go online to HTHT (Heart-to-heart-talk) cause' he was feeling emo about having to start school, so bo bians, we had a mass convo till like 2am. I KO-ed.
This morning I woke up and I felt as if my room were a foreign place. No more scooping kaya/nutella with forks for breakfast; No more games installed for me; No more affectionate name-calling of people; No more cheering. I felt a bit disoriented. I think I'm suffering from the post-camp syndrome, I miss 皇帝!
We should, we need, we must meet up like really really soon!

It is everybody's effort that brings up the spirit to make this family lively. Let's keep up the family and Huang Di spirit ok? This means that no matter how thick skin, just keep smsing and tok to each other online, posting in blog and facebook ok? Hee... this somehow like give me the excuse to disturb ppl. haha... yup, so let's keep v v in touch with each other ^-^

Our xiao xiong mama is really our nanny... he take real gd care of us during camps...like he will personally deliver our bedsheets (for those who arrive after day one) and he always think VERY HARD for lame lame lame jokes.... although we all cant laugh at them but it keep us entertained...then he is very creative, coming up with HAHA功 and even our OG name!! n he got fantastic acting skills... he did an oscars-winning role as 皇后.... so thank u! Jian xiong!

Yeah... day 2 more pple came!!!! Our strength increased frm 7 to 11!!!! WOAHHHHH!!!!!
The most impt event is the Amazing race.... it's so amazing that we went last... but tt's not a prob bcos that is the best family outing.... forgot to mention that we ve bcum one big family...

Really good and meaningful experience
Although not exact simulation, we got to feel the inconveniences that various disabilities bring about.
'Being act as a wheelbound person is really not that easy. you really need help from others. i have tried to walk on a flight of staircase on my own w/o the help from anyone. It's really quite hard and tedious.' -by kuan chieh.
' A very meaningful experience. After going through this emphathy challenge, it makes you understand ppl with disabilities better. Since i was acting as a blindvisually handicapped, i really experience what is meant by total darkness n be detached away from the rest. This experience really allowed me to understand e visually handicapped ppl better.' - by szeying:)

This was the most tiring b4 we ended day 1. We were supposed to bid for stuffs using e points we accumulated in the team building games to help us during e urban warfare. The thing is the stuff that we bid for were not really useful for the game, except for the strings. Haha. So we went on to the game. It was fun but real tiring cos e programmers made us run alot!!! Nevertheless, our OG managed to survive through tis game. Yeah!! Huangdi rocks!:)

The bbq dinner was really funny!!! The funniest thing that had happened was our dear Mr "Tay Ping Hui" who started cracked bout his "shi-pai-der-man" joke. It was quite lame, but we did enjoyed the lameness brought by him. So, the guys set up the fire n the ladies did e cooking. Hahas..there were quite a lot of food, so everybody had their fill before the urban warfare.
